Introduction

Preparations for the CKS Memorial Hall History Center were planned in 2012. Funded by private foundations, the Hall History Center was completed on October 25th, 2013, and officially opened to the public on October 31st. The words Hall History Center were written by Master calligrapher Chang Kuang-pin. The CKS Memorial Hall's white-and-blue color scheme was chosen for the overall design of the Center, which has the theme of a magnificent historic site and a palace of culture. The interior of the Hall History Center is divided into a three-part major topics area, a central island area and a multimedia video area to display archives, artifacts and photos that relate the construction, establishment and development of the Hall. Just outside the Center is a cultural and creative product area that has become an operations base that provides tour services to foreign and domestic visitors and promotes the image of the CKS Memorial Hall.
